Knowing Me Knowing You

Same world, different planet. That’s how it can feel working with people who aren’t ‘like us’. Misunderstandings between different personality types can lead to conflict and relationship breakdown – with a dramatic impact on team morale and business performance.

Managing our emotional state is critical to our performance. This course will give you a toolkit to remain calm, empathic and emotionally alert when you’re having a difficult conversation. You’ll build the self-awareness you need to be resilient in stressful situations, including when you’re dealing with anger aggression or threatening behaviour.

Using the Strength Deployment Inventory (SDI), a tool designed to help self-awareness and development, you’ll get a deeper understanding of yourself and those around you. You’ll learn to become more creative in your relationships, build rapport with colleagues and get the best out of other people.

You’ll return to the workplace with your impression of those around you no longer blurred by the filters you used to view them through, and with tools to deal effectively with the ‘difficult’ people we come across on a daily basis.

Same planet, new world.
